Episode 1 has come to and is gone from theaters. It was better than expected, but it will probably be remembered more for intense audience pleasure or displeasure, rather than for actual content. The weak characterization of young Anakin was overlooked in the controversy over Jar Jar, spoiled by rampant anthropomorphization. Perhaps alien races more closely resemble Gungans and Ferengi than us!
